Dexter The Senior Dog Was Used For Bait. Now He Has A New Home And A Bucket List

Dexter's Facebook page puts it beautifully: Dexter is a 13-year-old Pit Bull who was rescued about four years ago from a high-kill shelter in California. Though his origins are a mystery, the scars on his body are evidence of a life of neglect and abuse, and it's suspected that he was used as a bait dog before being discarded. His spine is permanently damaged, but his heart is intact.
